The Sun

One fine morning
The sun is shining
So brightly to begin my day
A beautiful smile
Feels like its just for me
To brighten up a gloomy day

I say "Good Morning"
How are you doing?
To everyone I meet on my way
It warms up our hearts
And cheers up our faces
And tells me its going to be okay

Throughout the day
You work so hard
Without fail you provide
Your sweet little cuddles
With drops of your kisses
Oh what a wonderful day!

Now the time has come
To return back home
We thank you for everything
Farewell for now
We will meet tomorrow
Goodbye and see you again

Colours of the rainbow brightens the sky
So is our friendship as colourful as the sky
We come from different walks of life
But destiny has brought us together in life
Sharing times of the ups and down
Even when it has been difficult you never frown
Remember those days we used to play
Being like a little kid night and day
Talking about anything and everything
From boys to fashion tips, well almost everything
A friendship so close and deeply connected
Like a canopy we feel safe and protected
Now I realize the value of our friendship
Apart from each other yet in close relationship
Distance may separate us physically
But deep in my heart you are my best friend truly

Perfect Marriage

Finally the day has arrived
A moment no words can describe
Nervous bride to walk down the aisle
Perfect groom waiting anxiously
Little flower girls storm out the door
Followed by the smart little boy
Who so carefully parades the ring
Step by step aligned with the music
Walking gracefully with shyness beneath
Holding the arms of her beloved father
Small tears seen dropping on her sleeve
A little tap to say it will be alright
No more little girl, she is now a bride
As one hand let goes the other is held
So firmly and strongly by her man
Thanking the Lord for the love showered
Tears roll down to see one love be united
Looking bravely into each others eyes
Hand in hand they exchange their vows
The moment has come to say the words
'I DO' devote my life to you
Bells are ringing like never before
Cheers of joy fill the hearts of all
The perfect marriage one could imagine
Sealed with a kiss by the man and wife
